We know Daniels lies and we should hear a lot more about a increase taxes for farm ground. We should also hear that Indiana Farm Bureaus is not backing Daniels this year!

I wish Governor Daniels would quit spending so much on his television ads bragging about how he hasn't raised taxes. He fails to mention the 1 percent increase of sales tax he made effective on April 1. Also, he never mentions that property taxes did increase for farm ground.

Our property taxes went up an average of 27 percent from last year, and I'm sure we aren't the only ones having this problem. Also, I see that Indiana Farm Bureau is not backing Daniels this year.

Come on Mitch, let's tell the truth!

I think you might be onto something with the discontent amongst the farming community. There are even grumblings from the large agrobusiness companies who are being hit with higher farmland property taxes as a result of the restructuring. I think JLT has a real opening on this front to drive a quarterback sneak if she can stay on message from now through the election with it.
